Coats

I finished the two little coats for Primrose & Maggie, using the chocolate cord fabric and using the fabric and buttons I bought in Liberty, London.
I am pleased with how they have turned out but I think they will probably fit them when they are five!! (they are two now)
I didnt have a coat pattern but used one I had for a shirt and took the hood pattern from a book.

Primrose and Maggie are two lucky little ladies!!! The coats are so cute...and will be in 3 years when hey can wear them, too! (By the way...their names - almost as cute as the girlies themselves!!! So sweet!)

Too cute! I love the the mismatched buttons.

You'd be surprised how much wear one can get from a coat. My granddaughter is wearing her coat for the third season. It went from very long to short & still looks great.

You didn't have a pattern so you used a shirt...how creative you are!!! The coats are so cute and the fabric is perfect for a winter coat. Oh, if only I could sew for my grandchildren. You sure did a great job and I think they will wear them for more than one season. I am impressed with your workmanship.
