baby trousers

Some time back I made these trousers for my etsy shop, no one bought them which I was quite sad about as they would look so sweet on a little baby, they are made from cotton fabric with a brushed cotton lining. Today my son called and said his wife would like to buy them for a baby shower she is attending and would I please make a matching bib which I have done.
I am glad they will soon be worn :)

Sunshine

I've been getting on with a few Etsy makes ready for my on line store launch, here is a selection. A couple of baby blankets and Cath Kidston feeding cover and bib.
But now the sun is shining I think I may step outside with a cuppa and my Kindle :)

Gifts

While away we went to visit my nieces new baby girl, I made her a crocheted blanket out of natural cotton yarn and a liberty print bib.

Today is my friends birthday so I made her a tea towel from toile de jouy fabric and knitted her a cotton dishcloth, I bundled them up with a wooden scrubbing brush

I managed to visit a few sewing shops while away on holiday, this is one of my purchases...a pack of Moda solids. Thinking I may make a baby quilt for my Etsy shop

Bibs and Dummy Straps

I have been making more dummy straps, the top two are Cath Kidston fabric, and Liberty fabric bibs with cotton towelling backing. (I think I should of ironed the bibs before photographing)

Not sure I will be blogging for a bit as we are off on our hols on Thursday :)...will see how it goes.

Bibs

This is a great book of patterns for children's clothes, I have just used the template for these bibs for my upcoming etsy store. I used fabric left over from a pair of trousers I made for Gilby and backed with towelling. I haven't yet made the fastening and am still considering which way to do this. The press stud gadgets really don't work well and I am not sure about Velcro. I have recently seen some hand made bibs with sew on press studs so may try those.
