celebrating

So today we celebrate 37 years of marriage...we have had ups and downs but thank God its been mainly ups. Dont laugh at the photo...Oh OK if you must. Yes we were young. We were married at St Mewan Church in Cornwall, a really pretty little church where our girls were Christened and my father and grandmother are buried.
Today we are going into London for a day of celebration and I will post about it tomorrow.
I thank God for my husband and all that he is to me.
For today please go and visit my daughters blog. They have been without a laptop for some time but now have one and she has just posted again, yesterday and today.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I haven't posted for a while...I am struggling in my ministry (pastor's wife) and the things I "can" blog about just seem trivial. Many in my congregation read my blog, so I can't post how I really feel....so I haven't. However, your daughters post yesterday really hit home and I realized I have been seeing myself as a victim and therefore not fulfilling what God has called me to do. all that to say, thanks for stopping by and I hope to be posting again soon. :)

btw, happy anniversary!!! Praying you have a wonderful day in London celebrating!

I loved seeing the 'before' and 'after' of Mr (yesterday's post) - you look much younger in your 'after' blog pic - how is that done? Happy Anniversary to you both. Hope cold London was good to you. x

I am sorry I missed the privilege of wishing you a "Happy Anniversary"! You do look so young, but it is such a good picture. We have been married 37 years too.
