Birthday, Borough & Bluebells

My birthday began with a trip to Borough Market at London Bridge to meet up with our youngest son and DIL for coffee and a Danish pastry. Borough is a facinating place, selling lots of interesting produce. Check out the website http://www.boroughmarket.org.uk/ This was followed by a wander around Oxford Street then home for fish & chips! I had had a lovely birthday supper at the home of friends from church on Friday evening. After church today we went to see the bluebells at Ashridge, shame it was raining but I managed a few photo's. Below are the lovely flowers that my daughter sent me.Next week we are going to Ales to visit my sister and her husband and then thats it done for another year!

Just a little something from Judy said...

I was hoping you have an enjoyable 50th birthday celebration, and it sounds like you did. Your family treated you in special ways. The flowers your daughter sent to you, are beautiful! The fields of Bluebells is one thing I always wanted to see. It just must be so pretty to see so much blue in the fields.

Hope you are having a good day today.
