Busy Days

We have had lots of busy days, running, climbing, eating, kissing over the kissing gate (that took a while with everyone having to do a kiss!) I managed a few posed photos like the bottom one here...you want to know how? Well I have in my camara case some 'photo sweeties' and if we all sit nicely without pulling any silly faces and manage not to wriggle, then we get a chocolate button each!

Poppies

The family are still with us, half leave tomorrow and the other half fly back to SA on Thursday...we have had a very busy time and so I havent been able to check out blogs for a while.This week on one of our trips out we came across this field of beautiful poppies.

Family

Our family from South Africa have arrived and the rest are arriving this evening...not much time to post but I thought I would add these great photos. A photographer friend of theirs in SA did a lovely photo shoot of the family on the farm where they live and work with orphans....thought you may like to take a look at a sample of them

The Cotswolds

We have returned from our trip to The Cotswolds and had a relaxing time. The rain stopped after the first night but as the sun didnt really shine until our last day, my photo's are a little dull. I love photographing achitecture and so a visit to this area is especially exciting for me. I hope you enjoy scrolling down through the photos below. We will certainly be planning another visit soon.

Jumpers

Even though South Africa is a warm country, during their winter season the weather can become a little chilly and so my daughter asked me if I would knit jumpers for the boys....here they are wearing them. The photos are taken with a Blackberry and then sent to me so they are not as clear as they would be taken with a camera. These two little chaps will be here on 8th June...very excited!
