My daughter bought my husband a bowl like this for part of his birthday gift...alongside the Scotty dog pen and pen recycled form corn on the cob chosen by the twins. This bowl is made by John Leach's Muchelney Pottery http://www.johnleachpottery.co.uk in Somerset, she bought it at Dartingon in Devon. We visited the pottery last summer and caught a glimpse of John Leach treating himself to a cone from the ice cream van. The pottery is lovely so I have put in an order with my daughter for my birthday :)

Nice bowl - we have one similar to it, made by a potter friend many, many years ago when he was still in school. Now we have a collection of his art - love it!
