Cloth House....via the macaroon shop

On Friday we went into London to meet up with our sons for lunch. I wanted to call in the Cloth House which is a fabric shop near Carnaby Street, they have lots if interesting fabrics. I bought some velvet ribbon, some vintage buttons and a little bundle of fabric off cuts. I am planning on making some cushions for Christmas gifts and will use the ribbon and buttons on them. We went via a lovely tea shop called Yauatcha which sells these beautiful cakes and macaroons. I have never been inside but have tasted the macaroons when our son in law bought a box for our daughter.

I hope we get to see the cushions that you make for Christmas gifts. When you listed the items that you bought in the store, and realizing your creativity, I am eager to see your finished products.

As for the tea shop...how beautiful! Wouldn't it be fun to meet together for tea and conversation in that lovely shop. It is okay to dream, especially with all of those good looking pastries.

Hope you are having a relaxing Sunday afternoon.

Thanks for the comment re Houston. Hopefully another year you can come. This will be only my second time attending. The first year I went down I got sick on the plane and arrived with chills and fever and spent my time mostly in bed at my step-daughter's home and missed the show, so I returned the next year and I went. I had a great time that year and vowed to return one day and so I am.
