Ohio Star Quilt

I have nearly finished my Ohio Star quilt. It's all put together, the blocks are hand quilted and the binding is on but I will add more handquilting to the white strips and border.

I may quilt waves around the border, in keeping with the nautical theme.

The white cotton fabric was an old bed sheet from my mothers home which makes me feel quite snug on the inside and out :)

I love the homespuns you used, and the larger blocks. Lovely.
Hope you and your family have a wonderful New Year.

I like the colors and the pattern of this quilt, but I also like the sentimental touch you gave to it. It will look good on any bed and will certainly brighten up a room. Great job!
