Grandson and his quilt

Here's a couple more photo's of the new grandson...still awaiting confirmation on his name.

Also the quilt I am making for him. I did make a linen quilt that my daughter chose with crosses sewn on with embroidery silks, but wanted to make a patchwork one too so it is below but not yet completed. I will post it again when done. I bought the fabric which is stars and stripes with some boats in the middle a few years back in South Africa, saving it until I had a special project to make. I  made it into one big log cabin block which I saw as a baby quilt in Martha Stewarts
Living magazine

I've been away and am sorry that I missed the big announcement. Congratulations!!!!! What a doll he is and plenty big to take on those sisters of his. I'll bet they are madly in love with him already.

I hope that all are doing okay.

How cute? How old is he? Your quilt is lovely and I also love that furry thing he's on in the first pic.
