Leibster Blog Award

Well I would like to say a big Thank You to Flying High on a Rocket Cycle for nominating me for the Leibster Blog Award!
I am going to attempt to get this right.....I am choosing three of my favourite blogs for this award, please follow the rules below

1) If you are tagged, and you want to accept, then create a post on your blog and add  the leibster blog pic.

2) Link back to the person who gave you the award and say if you accept.
3) Choose 3-5 of your favourite blogs to tag, link these in your post too and tell the lucky people they have been tagged.

The aim of this award is to bring unknown good blogs to light, (less than 50 Followers is ideal), therefore, please don't tag somebody with 3000

Little Fingers and Frosting this is one of my daughters blogs, she is a missionary in South Africa.....dont be put of by time between posts, they sometimes lack internet connection
Consume me From the Inside Out  I love to read about the family and what God is doing in their lives, lovely photos
Just a little Something for You another grandma of twins! and lots more beautiful grandchildren, I love to see what is happening in Judys neck of the woods

Well I hope I have done this right and you will get lots of visitors!

The Worship-Driven Life......AW Tozer

'Worship,' Tozer explained, 'is to feel in your heart and express in some appropriate manner a humbling but delightful sense of admiring awe and astonishing wonder and overpowering love in the presence of that most ancient Mystery, that majesty which philosophers call the First Cause but which we call Our Father which Art in Heaven.'

Quilts for new Grandson

Some time back my daughter sent me the link to a quilt she wanted me to make for her new baby, it was made of natural coloured linen and quilted with embroidery silks, just making small crosses in different colours spead across the linen fabric. Its quite an old fashioned design and the photo's dont really capture it too well. I also wanted to make him a patchwork quilt which is picured after the linen quilt and I mentioned in my last post. I never really know how to bind quilts well so I went on you tube and found a good clip and I am pleased with the outcome
This is the link for the You Tube clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buCKs-Fgvb4

In the two following photo's he is wrapped in one of the quilts that I made for the twins

Grandson and his quilt

Here's a couple more photo's of the new grandson...still awaiting confirmation on his name.

Also the quilt I am making for him. I did make a linen quilt that my daughter chose with crosses sewn on with embroidery silks, but wanted to make a patchwork one too so it is below but not yet completed. I will post it again when done. I bought the fabric which is stars and stripes with some boats in the middle a few years back in South Africa, saving it until I had a special project to make. I  made it into one big log cabin block which I saw as a baby quilt in Martha Stewarts
